Onua Francis International School runs the Ghana Education Service curriculum in a more standardized way designed to meet the requirement of a world-class basic school. Aside from the prescribed curriculum for basic schools, Onua has gone the extra mile to integrate other academic programs into its curriculum
The classes are organized into four (4) departments, each led by a departmental head: the Preschool Department (Crèche, Nursery, and Kindergarten), the Lower Primary Department (Basic 1 to Basic 3), the Upper Primary Department (Basic 4 to Basic 6), and the Junior High Department (JHS 1 to JHS 3).
Facilitators are encouraged to conduct regular assessments to evaluate learners' understanding of the lessons delivered. They are expected to assess students daily after each lesson through either oral or written evaluations. Additionally, the school policy mandates regular homework or research assignments to reinforce classroom learning and foster independent study habits among students.
